My portal at the Temple of Frost decayed after 3 days

For the second time, after changing location, my Portal (build) is decayed after 3 days close to the Temple of frost. Is that normal?

I lost 2 portals after about the same amount of time.

Everyone told me to use better build pieces to make it last longer.

Placeables have a short decay time. Putting down a pad for placeables extends this.

Craft a wooden repair hammer, equip it, and you can see the decay timer.

I used Vanir cabin pieces. Now I changed with storm glasses. let’s see what happens.

I am also having this issue and mine is stormglass, say its going to decay in 39 hours but no matter how many i put down and put back up, theystill say 39 hours. I have removed almost 90% of the building (including foundations) and placed them down and still says 39 hours. PS now it is saying just over an hour, waaat???
