Greetings @Neisa787 ,
Thank you for your report. Please follow the steps to verify your game files:
- Open Steam
- In Library, click with the right button on the game and select “Properties”
- Select the Installed files
- Select Verify integrity of game files….
If the issue still persists, please feel free to reach out in private and share your logs with us.
Thanks in advance.
That won’t help at all sadly. I myself and others I know have framerates of around 100 and still microstuttering persists. There are some changes to the engine.ini floating around whiich are making it bearable

I thought it was just me! But yes, same here. I also verfied integrity of files. Ill have 100+ FPS but itll stutter for me every 5 seconds.
What are the changes? Game is unplayable at the moment for me because of this.
For me it freezes anytime the reticle is pointed on the object that has inventory. It consistently does it until the “Quick Contents” window determines it is done displaying. Rubberbanding to that spot happens again and again until the display is done. Follow the pattern.
I always think the first thing people do when they have problems is verify the integrity of files, which is kinda “fine” to do, but that does not concern a whole lot of problems you have in the game.
Verifying files would be the go to solution for problems what start happening for corruption of files, right after updates, and generally about crashing and errors which are not of “graphic nature”. Strange right off the bat telling to verify files, unless it is kind of a recorded message.
The engine thing is a huge help even if you have no problems, even if just want better performance in some circumstances.
But if it still giving problems after, verify your logs to see if they are “huge”, if so, also set your system to stop logging useless information.
Sometimes if you game runs nicely, and it just keeps stopping from time to time and you see a very unusual disk activity, that is the problem.
In the same engine.ini of the guide above, add:
[Core.Log]
Global=none
And only remove it when you really need to log crashes or something, because right now, game is logging even freaking “no emote entry” like 100 times in sequence. That does a hell of a damage to your performance, for no reason, as ignoring it will make your game run just fine.

I have this when playing with mods.It runs fine for 20 min and then it gives these small stutters that make my eyes bleed after an hour.Unplayable.
Check your ConanSandbox.log file for large size and rapid growth from a flood of LogScriptCore Warnings. This can cause lag for yoru client due to I/O to the log file.
Adding this to your engine.ini (dedicated server and client) will supress warnings and below, and should cause the log flood and stuttering to stop:
[Core.Log]
LogScriptCore=Error

Still having this issue. Has a fix been realized. Only started happening after the last patch that nerfed stam (not saying stam change is related).
Game freezes for a millisecond every 3 secs or so.
Thank you for your reply TreyRex92!

I had this, turned out it was NordVPN doing its background scanning for web malware etc - disabled that and hey presto, no stuttering. Might want to check to see if you have anything like that running
