I’m trying to get a Gateway to ‘snap’ onto the outermost edge of a Ceiling piece. It ‘snaps’ to the MIDDLE of the Ceiling piece…I’ve been trying for an hour but it just won’t ‘snap’ to where I want. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
hey there , being a bit “under” (around waist should be at same level as the ceiling ) and to the left or right of ( the center of ) the edge of the ceiling will help you place it ( so from the outside , if you need place temporary structure to stand on don’t hesitate to make one in sandstone ) it’s pretty hard at the begining cause gateframe are pretty capricious to place right on the edge , but with a lot of patience you’ll get it right and after placing 2 or 3 you’ll become an expert !
There’s also this method - which has worked for me pretty much every time (though I wasn’t able to make it work the most recent time, which did involve building on ceilings, but did also have some additional angles involved that might have caused the problem) -
Thanks, for the quick reply, guys…REALLY apprecate the advice. Take care.
Good video, I’ll need to keep this in mind for the future. My problem tends to be that I build massive walls first, before starting to place my gates, so I can’t get into the angle Wak shows here without tearing down my expensive walls.
I guess planning in advance has its merits. Who would’ve thunk?
