Nemedian Officer fur on leg shares same dye layer as the linen..why?

i find this really frustrating that the fur on the back of the nemedian officer shares the same dye layer as the linen so if you try to change the linen’s colour, it will also turn the fur into the same colour…why would this be intended? has it always been like that?

Does that fourth dye channel do anything? Looks like it could be blank, unless it’s the metal parts. But if it isn’t blank then it may just be that they only had four dye channels, so had to double up somewhere.

the last one is for the chainmail, it’s really odd because one of the layers is for the little metal tabs on the front of the armour, could they not have used that one for the entiere metals, or just left the fur out of the dye channel instead

Yeah, if they’re using two of the four channels for metals, that seems a bit fo an overkill. It would have made more sense to separate the fur and the cloth. Best I can suggest is it might be worth reporting to helpshift ( Contact Us — Conan Exiles Help Center ), maybe the devs take a look at it at some point. I’ll add it to the player-maintained list of bugs.

just submitted a report, i also heard that CE:E has 6 dye channels now? (unsure if this is true or not) but if it is true it would be ncie if the older armours got those extra channels

I hadn’t heard that, but sounds good if true. Hopefully that means they would go back and update.
