After playing a while here some thoughts about AoW AI update.
Reducing engagement\chase distance for enemy’s make battles less entertaining
and jumpier (+ really ruins some immersion)
Why so:

bots leave in the middle of the fight
(they just returning to their posts and do not react to any hits keep regenerating and run away) -
its hard now to kite and drag them from the camps (they return to the spawnpoint to quick)

its really painful at early\middle game since you not strong enough to kill regular foes with 1-3 hits (they keep running back and regenerating)

before update bots come for the players (so we can drag enemy outside the camp and divide their numbers)

now we must come for them chasing each one (while enemy keep regenerating)

archers now behave very odd because their active distance too short (keep doing nothing while we killing other folks around)
I am not against limiting sight zone for the enemy’s, but after they spot you they must attack until you leave their camp (for humans). For beasts chasing distance must be increased (they are beasts you know).
Archers radius must be increased – that’s the point of them. One step back make them disengage completely from battle.
Here some screens - bots keep turning back on you and running away in the middle of the engagement (probably make +1 step from their new area of activity).
