After every server restart the new “delay between purges” timer is reverting back (we had it set at 60 minutes) to the default timer (5 minutes). Another issue here is, this timer seems to be running the second the first purge activates. Since we can not have multiple purges at once. If a purge takes 10 minutes to defeat, the next one is already queued and launching right after. Causing a continuous chain of purges.
Also, on the actual server side of things. The old “per day” setting is still there and shows that it is set at 12 per day (24 hour day).
