Here is the DevKit Log lets talk about what does all oh this mean, if anyone frome the mod discord it could be nice to hear if you guys found something out we dont understand frome all of this.

just finished downloading the update, i’ll boot up and check out the additions to see what’s what, share screenies and suchlike.
always remember tho, just cuz something is added to the devkit does not necessarily mean it will show up in game in the update. devkit got most of the dark dregs stuff two updates before it went live.
for what i can see its a quest line if they locking it behind a event that will not be a good thing, becuse i think it tied to the ritual summoning
allso its a werewolf
Ok, so here’s what I am seeing, with some commentary on what I think it might mean.
New NPC Traitor of Blood is a vendor. He trades blood for garbage. Probably event related.
New NPC “It That Hunts” is also a dialogue NPC, but this one uses the V2 dialogue system and allows turning in various garbages. again, probably event related. he doesnt like most of what you can offer, but if you offer obsidian it hints that you can give it an “obsidian gem” to trigger the offering of several fetch quests. the dialogue action and conditions that are ref’d in quest trigger boxes are not exposed, so i cant follow that any further (or i just cant find how to get to them cuz im stoopid). in devkit test once you accept one of the quests, talking to him again ends in an improperly formatted message with no action attached. from this i surmise that it is unfinished, and probably connected to FLS (Funcom Live Services, AKA it’s server-connected event that i can’t fiddle with any further)
my guess is that this NPC is summoned via sorcery wand ritual thru the new BP_Ritual_SummonUnalliedNPC, but i dont have any experience with the ritualtable or how any of that works so i cant give any more info on it.
what i think might be most interesting is the new thrall trading post placeables, allowing players to sell thralls and pets to other players. the cage has a smart object slot (you can move your thrall into it to occupy that spot), update the price, then you can sell thrall/pet to other players. pretty neat.
and that’s the meat and potatoes of what is in the changelog.
CORRECTION: upon further investigation, the Traitor of Blood and It That Hunts NPCs are summoned by the player at a chalk circle. the recipe is available upon learning sorcery / chalk circle, tho it still seems that the It That Hunts quest trigger atleast doesnt seem to work properly in devkit/single player. it might be that i just need more fiddling to figure it out.
it’s used to make the obsidian gem in the alchemy cauldron craftingstation. that obsidian gem is what you give to the summoned werewolf guy to start the fetch quests. as far as i can tell, corrupted bones remain unusable.
i hope ill be able to participate i still am unable to do many parts of sorcery since a cheater wiped my knowledge they said they would add a way to learn it back and never did. only fix is a remake of character but then i lose my pre- server transfer siptah recipies that i kept.
i can see alot of good things in dev kit like the trading but is it me their feel its kinda to late to put it into the game,
really like the idea, but so many plays singleplayer and bearly plays online becuse of the reasons they have, so i can allso see this is little to late to put into the game,
the thing im little afraid of is the quest i can see in the log is gonna be like the freya and Liu Fei questline on that point is 8 hours to you can play next quest.(but it looks like their is no questline)
i think what it might actually be is that when you offer the summoned werewolf the obsidian gem, that list of what i thought are fetch quests are actually ways to acquire certain items. i still cant find the actual dialogue_action that is called by these nodes
