If 7D2D was prettier and 3rd person I’d be playing it.
If ARK wasn’t so ugly, clunky, mixed eras of dinos, and had any thought to ecology, I’d be playing it.
If small land wasn’t so claustrophobic and a multiplayer; 10 to a private server, I’d be playing it.
IF there was a viable alternative I’d be playing it. If one comes along…
Wrong decission on your end. Just saying. 7dtd is a great game with its own charm. And it can get very challenging with the right settings. Love it the way it is. Mod community is very active, a ton of settings to customize. Seed based map design adds to high replayablility. Playing and supporting it on and off since almost the beginning.
Don´t jugde a book by its cover. A lot of people make this mistake. Gameplay and fun is more important in the end then looks.
I have a lot of very underrated games in my steam library that are very fun to play but never got that popular because people only fall for the big titles. Even though they lag content and replayability.
I’ve got 700 hours in it. Not much. Got a character on a private server now for when Conan gets a funcom. I’d be playing it as much as Conan if it was prettier and 3rd person.
Would love for 7 Days to have third person. Some time ago they said they were going to try and implement it. Sadly there’s been no updates about it since unless I just missed it.
just wait 3 days, whoaa, i still hope we get pyramid set on 60 lvl Batlle pass reward, and expansion for it (its incomplete set now) from the bazar in the future
Nah thats not happening. The build sets have very consistently been 1000 croins in the bazaar. Stormglass cathedral, Expanded turanian, expanded nordheimer, prison, all of them.
Im fine with that, as long as I get to actually buy it! Gief it to me!
But for me personally, I dont see a Stygian-themed set and the first ever build set that actually looks good in the desert among the DLC or among the previous releases. (not counting sandstone)
For me its not about quantity but quality. As long as certain quantity threshold is passed.
And in that model, FC was bleeding money because Steam takes their 35% and then you always have those sales on Steam (for a while it felt like every other week, something on CE was on sale) and that kills any margin you had built in on the product.
Yeah Steam kills profits, but it doesn’t mean FC should massively increase prices in their own market where Valve doesn’t take a percentage
Making things too expensive will kill your own sales.
Compare it to what is currently going on a “service” games vs what they used to do. Yes it’s far pricier than what it was but its in sync with Fortnite and PUBG stuff.
