I spent hours days and weeks ( I am old slow and bit arthritic unlike some of you youngsters) rebuilding our castle empire in the hopes of enticing our team members back into the game since the Never Ending Loading Screen Disaster…
If the access does not happen this weekend or the server decay timers aren’t frozen, then that is it for me. Games have issues, I get that, but when those issues are caused by the gamemaker and not resolved at least half as fast as our money is taken, then there seems little point in investing time into a game.
And yes we all invest a bit of money, and a LOT of our time, heart and soul into what we create within a game. Would any one of us continue with a date, or activity, that was constantly causing let-downs, disappointment and dors slammed in our faces?
No we would not, we would take our time and energy elsewhere, and so, this Saturday morning I am very sad to say if the situation remains the same by this time Monday morning, I will feel sure my world on Exiles will be shattered to the sandstorm in dust and Siptah won’t be far behind, the one remaining player on Siptah who does have access has already seen Croms light fading in his heart.
It is a beautiful, frustrating, enticing and addictive game but no game is worth the let-down of a hard days work looking forward to escaping in our world just to be met with the no entry sign AGAIN.
Thank you sestus2009 and your good lady for the invite to join your private server, brought a tear to my eye and much appreciated, but that won’t bring my castles back and part of the reason we loved our servers was a bit like the Three Bears Porridge pots…PVP = wayy too hot and toxic, PVE = a bit cold and boring, PVE-C = Just about the right mix!
We enjoy encountering others ingame, it’s a great way to meet new people and have a bit of fun.
Funcom, shame on your company for putting money over your player base, I have seen literally hundreds of reports across the internet, remember most of those won’t put a ticket in nor post here , they simply take their time and money to a new game but are quick and happy to ensure their friends know which games to avoid.
I hope it gets fixed in time, I hope others don’t lose their efforts, but sadly as of Monday, for me it’s been 3 years of owning the game and spending a little here and there on top, but less than one year of that has been playable…
