# New survey out over AoW chpt 3

I am here to talk about the survey. Be afraid. Be very afraid. (For those of you who may not know why I say that see: [FC's response to the survey - #70 by Alexandria](https://forums.funcom.com/t/fcs-response-to-the-survey/165386/70) )

But, mostly, I kid. Compared to THAT proverbial dumpster fire of a survey, THIS one was an absolute pleasure to take. A few people in various Discords have had a chuckle that FC used a common freebie tool that absolutely anyone can use to make a survey about anything and advertises for itself when you get to the end of this survey. But hey at least the questions were relevant and written by someone who actually knows this game. I’ll take that over the “professional” survey that FC no doubt paid to have done and that was in all ways an utter travesty. And I got to rant about how in all this time there has been NOTHING for the Cimmerian culture and how I can’t believe they would treat CONAN in such a shoddy and dismissive way.

And yes this survey was also an obvious attempt to gauge how much we’re willing to spend in the cash shop and what shiny pretties we like best. And that’s okay too. Because they are really falling down on the job there (almost as badly as with the combat changes) and could easily have a lot more of my money if they would:  
Not sell broken things.  
Not throw around a bunch of red ink pretending they are giving me a “discount” when they are doing nothing of the sort.  
Not be deceptive. The Yamatai bar set comes to mind. They sold seating thralls would come and sit on with the Nord bar set. Then they have the gall to pretend surprise when people actually expected that thralls would sit on the cushion seating that was part of the Yamatai set. That was low FC. Do better.

What was blatantly missing from the survey were any questions about how we felt about getting banned from the game for days over THEIR goof up with the Crom coins. Nor did they ask what anyone who lost progress or even outright bases on official servers due to their error would like in order for FC to make that situation THEY CAUSED right. But hey we haven’t really gotten an apology for it either so I guess that was too much to expect.

But overall, not a terrible survey. Crom knows they’ve certainly done worse.
