Just a few pointers I picked up on xbox version…
1: “Bearer Packs” can be picked up off of tamed Bearers, you can wear them to look cool, but you can also just keep them in your inventory, they will take up 3.15 weight but will add 10 slots to your bag.
2: When mining resources, don’t go for the biggest vein, instead go for smaller veins that are closer together and hit multiple veins at once.
3: For console players - there are new building mechanics. While in building mode, press crouch and this will change the function of L2 and R2, press crouch once to activate Raise/Lower press twice and three times for PitchYaw, press a fourth time to reset to Rotate. This does not work for brick pieces like foundations or walls. Only props and buildings.
4: While riding on the Rhino, press A to Melee attack with the Rhino, it will shake it’s head and do damage to anything in front of it, even when it is standing still. It uses about 15% of the Rhino’s stamina.
5: In a pinch, Aloe leaves and Insects can be eaten, saved my ass a few times.

You can stack chests into walls. Not all walls, it seems to work better with large boulders.
-
There are different level Pets, for instance there are two types of Lion/Tiger/Bear that you can tame, it will depend on your level and what you feed it in the Animal Pen, There is a Heavy and Light version for each animal.
-
You can place people and animals inside cages. Set the thrall you want in the cage to stand guard where you want the cage, tell the thrall to follow you, put the cage where the thrall was standing guard and unfollow the thrall. It will reset in the cage.
-
Roof pieces don’t need to be “roof” pieces.
-
Named Bearer Thralls are beastmode. They do nearly the same amount of damage as a regular thrall, have good HP, and have 20 slots. Always give your following thrall your heaviest items.
-
Store unplaced animals/pets/thralls in a freezer box to preserve them, their decay stops, even undead thralls.
-
The Aquitonian Scout Saddle is the best vanilla saddle for long distances, it makes all the difference when traveling.
-
Mix building pieces, it looks better. Unless you are getting griefed on PVP.
-
Know your building sizes, Map Room is 8x8, Large Well is 8x8, Forge and most Benches are 1.5x1.5.
-
When you fall with a horse, jump at the last second, it will reduce damage, if done right you won’t get any damage.
-
Press B when you fall on foot, you roll and reduce damage.
-
Set mount for 15M follow distance, it seems to be the least annoying setting. Set thrall for lowest, I think it is 5M, and set thrall to defend you, not attack all.
-
Instead of repairing weapons, make new ones and give the near broken ones to thralls.
I’ll think of more soon. I had a good one but I can’t remember it now, lol.
