That is the understatement of the century. Apply this to their nerfs as well. Sure, some items were a little too powerful and needed to be tweeked but my word they nerfed them into oblivion and made them absolutely useless.

See directly above and this is the exact reason why there is such a negative response on these forums to ANY request for nerfs in the game. There is no sliding scale in their hands. They cannot go from 10 to 8 to make things more in line with others. They go from 10 to 1 and leave it there. Do you really want bombs to do 1 damage and become so obsolete that they will never be used again for the rest of Conan Exiles existence? I doubt that. I am sure you want them to become BALANCED and in line with other means of playing, something fair for both attackers and defenders. But to call for a straight nerf will just make them an equivalent of tossing a rotten egg at a brick wall. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Do you mean like the “overhaul of the pet system”? Yeah… I’m not holding my breath on that one… :woman_shrugging:

That is your opinion. Thank you for sharing. Do you have anything useful to add now?

Just out of curiosity, because my memory could be faulty on this as I honestly don’t usually mess with the religions all that my myself. I know at one point in time they had removed the gods form being summoned for quite a while. Had they also removed the bubbles at that time or was it just the summons? Because that certainly was not part of any overhaul, it was just a removal and it took quite some time for them to bring them back.

I do think this is more in line with the thought process behind this decision. Large established clans know exactly what to farm because they have been doing it for years and likely have so much of the materials in storage that they can bubble 24/7 if they needed to while smaller clans can’t touch them. There is no way for them to compete at all, even if two smaller clans temporarily teamed up to fight the larger clan it wouldn’t matter with them being permabubbled. Remove the bubbles and now the bigger clans actually have to defend themselves. More interactions between players (in theory) is a good thing (and faster easier to make trebs should “HOPEFULLY” mean less dependancy on bombs though I doubt it).

Yeah it tends to be cyclical. It goes form atrocious to slightly better to far worse to “look we are making efforts to improve it” to “those efforts have dissipated into the aether”. It has never been (even back in the days of Age of Conan) at a point where it could be considered “good”.
