I’m playing Shipter Island. I stopped being attacked by enemy NPCs two months ago. There is no counterattack even if you attack. Slaves and pets are attacked. The setting was restored to the default, and the update was made, but the symptoms remained unchanged. Please tell me what to do.

Welcome to the Forum. I am guessing you are playing offline? Have not heard of this happening however there is alot of helpful people in the Forum some one will likely be able to help. @zeoloot0720
Ok, are you playing single player? or Online?
If you are playing single player and you are offline, are you sure you are still not in creative mode?
Once you in creative mode state, nothing will attack you.
(You have to ‘exit’ creative mode once you enter it, if you wish to play the game normally)
If that’s not it then have you been using the ‘Admin panel’ for anything? There are some settings there which can affect how Npcs react to you.

Try starting a new game using a different player and if it works properly compare the settings perhaps you missed something in setting not sure what would allow your pets and followers to be attacked and not you.

The settings of the management panel have been reviewed. It seems that there was a check in the hidden and god mode.
If you uncheck it, you will be attacked by an NPC.

Glad we could be of service. Have done similar things my self. Accidently hitting a setting and could no longer knock out thralls

With those admin settings active, you can zip around the entire map all day, and nothing will bat an eyelid.
