# Not sure where I want to make my main base. Seems like C7 was the best. Not sure what dimensions for the base though. I wanted to make it a PVE Private World Village. So either 17X17 as a castle, or 19X19 as a village of 4 houses, a craft shop, storage area, and a town square. - ---

my suggestion would be at abandoned coast/island where the giant crocs are but b careful where your teleport point is or you’ll end up hitting the invisible wall or croc mouth.be sure to take enough water,food,bedroll and campfire to create spawn point on the hilltop .and many star metal/dragon arrows to shoot him first as his a boss and wont allow u near ground. get some black ice foundation blocks and lay it two high with the same spiked wall and fence protection so he or anyone else cant reach you. After that u can continue building and creating a cool home from inside the walls’ .u should gramb a water well in admin and Cimmerian meals that you can consume while building as croc respawns twice as fast and will try challenge u even within the walls. Height keeps u same and stay clear of green wall.don’t built to close there or you will die and don’t play with co op online as u will get robbed and cheated of everything while offline ---

That area with the jaguar on that island near deckswab’s retreat also seemed good for an 11X11 base with a moat Not really sure how great that area is, but that area was pretty and had a good thrall location nearby and some iron. It was sort of cool. - ---

Dont forget to be near an obelisk. My main-base is at the River in H6. Its near the Arena Obelisk… (but I have 8 outpost on many common areas). ---

No, let’s not elaborate on undermeshing in public. I get that @Daenkn is salty about Funcom not fixing undermesh points fast enough and about the fact that official servers don’t punish cheaters, but if you want him/her to teach you how to undermesh, please do it in DMs. ---

It’s building your base under the terrain mesh, so that it cannot be found and/or raided. And yes, it’s cheating. ---

Getting back to the actual topic. So far the main base has been at C7 in the flat area. But I kind of like the grassy jungle island with the island that has pitfall pass in it, building near the beach. I also like the bear island. But so far C7 seems to be the best. But I’m not exactly sure what area I like most. It’s tough to find good, flat, grassy, resource rich areas in the south at 7 or lower towards the south of the map. - ---

So far C 7 is best. But Algar’s Rise and that area with the 1 iron node near the tribes in the south west section of the river at E3/E4 are my favorite areas so far. K5 and K6 seem really nice for a beautiful mostly uninhabited Jungle Island. Good but no Brmstone. Another area I liked was Messenger’s Respite at I7. I usually like areas at 7 or lower on the map that are flat or have good resources. So far Algar’s Rise and C7 were the best along with E3 at the river have felt the most comfortable so far. Sorry if I’ve been too repetative with this topic. I’ll try to post a picture of my C7 Base. - ---

Sekhet Oasis just North of Sepemeru is my goto place. Water, Good stone and wood, coal and iron, bark, lovely scenery. Plus wild game, rhino calfs and leopards nearby. Close to Sep for thralls. Close to wine cellar and war maker. Short trek to Brimstone and thrall leveling there. Lovely music. Sandstorms just skirt you if you build on the north side. Bunch of bosses nearby. Fish traps in the water. Seriously it is one of the best spots. Only disadvantage is being on the side of the map but once you have the map room or a good horse not a big deal.
