Nothing Stands In My Way

Have bosses be able to destroy nearby resources with their attacks. Like a boss Rhino charging through a bunch of trees or destroy stone deposits.

In another survival game I play (ARK), this has been achieved with larger creatures. But that’s a different engine, if I’m not mistaken.

Same base engine (UE4) except different versions of that engine, but also completely different team (Ark’s in it’s prime had about 5 times the staff), budget ($100 million or so more for Ark), how the game is designed on the back end, and etc. About the only thing Ark and Conan have in common is that they both use UE4, and they are both Survival Sandbox games.

To the rest of your suggestion, I don’t really see a purpose why. You want boss enemies to actively target resource deposits? Don’t really see the point, but hey if you think it’s cool, suggest away I say.

Bosses actively attacking resource deposits would suck…It would be neat, though, if they passively destroyed trees and things in their way while they’re attacking the player. that would eliminate the possibility of the boss getting stuck in a tight spot of resources while they’re after the player.
