NPCs and creatures going missing from the map

Bug Description:

NPCs have been going missing from the map, including the ice tea vendor at the volcano, most of the animals in the savanna, a horde of Nordheimers at the great dam, and scorpions in the silver mine. We attempted a restart, checking the respawn rate, a fruitless search for under mesh bases, and deleting the SteamApps folder and reinstalling it. The number of thralls going missing are increasing over time as far as we can tell. Are there any other steps we can take to correct this problem? I really do not want to wipe the server, is there a way to repair the game database if that is causing the problem?

I would recommend installing Pippi and looking at the building heat map, just to be sure someone hasn’t despawned them. You can always remove Pippi after the fact.

Do you mean with land claim? It is not buildable in the spot where the ice tea vendor is located in the volcano.

So the problem is something to do with the game files installed by Host Havoc. Bringing over just the game.db file to a clean game host install resolved the issue.

Specifically: there is something wrong with the default ServerSettings.ini file provided by Host Havoc. Copying the default settings from a GTXGaming server resolved the issue. I have advised Host Havoc of the issue.
