The commander doesn’t appear on the map when it spawns, it only appears after it has spawned 2 waves of mobs.
That’s intended after a certain wave level. The commander has a buff called under the radar which means it doesn’t show on the map, you have to find it yourself.
as if this event wasn’t bad enough, so great …
All the bonus spawns get it, commander’s just the only one it’s annoying for.
