I have a really odd problem with sound effects that I have no idea how to fix.
I have character on private pvp server and when ever I equip a one handed weapon, my characters footstep noises turn into shalebacks stomps - really loud ones too - and swinging a weapon causes shaleback attack noises. This problem exists only in this specific server, in every other server sound effects are working as normal. If I run with or use tools, bow and two handed weapons they all have normal sound effects.
Any ideas why this happens?
I’m guessing that a mod that server runs causes this problem. Check with others on that server to see if they also have the same issue.
It is because, deep down… Your character is a Shaleback…
Sometimes the truth hurts…
No mods on server. No one else is suffering the same issue afaik. I’ve played on and off on that server since April 2017 and I’ve had that sound issue since the frozen north update. Server has never been wiped but has had couple of substantial rollbacks (like months worth of) but my issue persist through all the updates and all.
