Official Server #6444 has 9999ping and players cannot connect at the moment.
Experiencing the same issue. Although other friends aren’t and have been able to join.
Reported via zendesk already. Historically this goes nowhere and I get no response.
I guess FC is trying to get us all to leave the game 
My friend and I have both been able to connect via hotspot on our phones, but not through our actual internet. Maybe it’s an issue with ports?
I can confirm what @NonProphet said. My friends who are connected to the server 6444 that somehow bypass this 9999 ping are on ATT. I was trying to connect via typical ISP and switched to my att hotspot through my mobile device. It worked.
