We were in game, got DC’d and told we “Exceeded the maximum Ping” and when we logged back in, the server browser showed a ton of servers with 9999 pings, including ours. Then it disappeared from the list altogether and now doesn’t show up at all, even though many of the others that previously showed 9999 pings are back up. Been missing for about a half hour now.
Is this a weekly maintenance thing, or some kind of anomaly?

This is a bit of an anomaly, but it’s happening to other servers as well. You can thank Funcom for the wonderful updates of Chapter 3 for it.
Down again … do they do unannounced maintenance shut downs or is this just another example of the “higher quality, more polished and more iterated upon updates”.
6447 is down as well. Went down for 4 hours just the other day. Seems these servers crash and it takes forever to come back up as they don’t seem to be monitored.

Wow, I sure hope you’re wrong about them not being monitored. That would be totally unacceptable.
Server 6443 has crashed at least three times since last night. Down again…
