Whoever thought changing the event log on official pvp forums to ‘another person’ to make it anonymous should be fired. Half the fun in Conan has always been building up and retaliating against those that raid you and I say this, even as someone that sometimes plays solo.
I have played Conan Exiles since the beginning (Jan 2017) and this one event anonymity feature immediately took the old Conan feel and desire/drive to play out of this niche game for me. Play around with private servers all you want but leave officials alone as you are literally making changes that ruin this game.
Now for graphics… I have a nice NVidia graphics card with updated drivers and for the life of me, I cannot get my graphics to look even ‘ok’ so for me, this long awaited update was a huge setback. Everything has this overexposed pixelated look (especially during sandstorms) with a very annoying bright red hue and when opening a door to walk out, blinding brightness for the first few seconds so trying to fight around a base is a huge disadvantage for defenders.
I honestly see no positives with this update, just the asinine event log change, the horrible overexposed red hue and blinding brightness that cannot be tweaked with regular settings, high ping every server and lag and rubberbanding.
I would go back to 2017 in a heartbeat with bugs like Gods with infinite timers and our inability to climb, at least that was entertaining.
