This is why I said above that things such as skybases and undermesh bases should take vastly higher priority than landclaim. In a pvp server you can just raid / blow up a landclaim base. Not hard to remove on your own. Yet other issues are a vastly larger issue as are the other cheat methods I mentioned above as well. Again, this is a priority issue on Funcom’s end.

I highly doubt they would know how to implement that.

How would this help anything? Legitimate question. I could build a base that is 1/2 the size of yours but with 6x the amount of placeables and cause far more performance issues than your base so how will building limits do anything?

And this will have horrendous effects on single player mode as well as on private servers. This is not a good answer.

Well, to be honest, if you give people a tool that is generally what they will do with it. :woman_shrugging: That, yet again, is why it is an issue of prioritizing issues on the part of Funcom and the fault is upon them and them alone. THEY chose to prioritize land claim over seriously egregious offenses showing a pattern of caring less about cheating and more about “large bases”.

Now I understand that they wish to help improve the quality of their servers in any way they can, but THIS is not the way. It is a way, but they had clearly gone way too far in their desire to police this one issue that they have decided to ignore all others. That should never happen.
