So now that we have battering rams perhaps lightning storm damage to buildings could be partially returned to match the battering rams :slight_smile:

From tests that I did back when lightning storm still obliterated buildings, I don’t think its damage was too high, rather it just sometimes instantly destroyed what it hit. So it was some kind of bug separate from damage.

I would like to see the storm do a little bit more than it currently does though. It is fun to use during purges, but is more fun than useful as it does very little actual damage.

i like to use it during purges too, also the zombie mist but i neve see where the zombies spawns, sometimes i think they not spawned i listen the sound but no one shows up. Maybe spawning undermesh

The ministun on players is fun. Could be a deciding move to kill an opponent.

Lightning Storm had a bug fixed and its consistency and damage increased.

100,000 damage was what it said in the blueprint, for a near miss. The idea was that a miss would NOT do full damage to targets but would do damage radiating outward, so the further away the less damage it would do. The bug that happened is it considered it a near miss if the bolts glitched through buildings and thus hit the ground in the middle, obliterating everything.

So they fixed the targeting logic, made it so the storm wouldn’t spawn glitched bolts that went through buildings, and increased the damage and accuracy so that the bolts favor hitting enemies and structures. Also direct hits had their damage increased, and the frequency of bolts was increased.

Lightning Storm had a bug fixed and was buffed.
