As a friendly reminder, it’s been over a year since the server transfer and AESIR craftsman BUG. Since Update 3.0, we’ve spent a lot of dollars on beautiful clothing, architecture, and accessories. Our house is more gorgeous than before, but except for the artisans. Most of the artisans still wear ugly artisan clothes, while the highly sought after Aesir artisans are not available due to bugs, or the official belief that the artisans who wore gorgeous clothes in the past were bugs. As a result, older versions of Aesir Artisans are particularly popular with players. These craftsmen now sell for about four dollars each. And no one in the land of exile has even sold this precious treasure.
Conan the Exile is one of the most beautifully built sandbox games I have ever played. So, whenever I can customize the look of the craftsman, even if it is to bring the Aesir craftsman back to normal, I am happy to pay for the look.
Do named surge crafters still spawn in their factions armor? Having lost Doriah The Whipper with a wheel of friendship decaying in my base after a server reset, and a glitched purge spawning on a second floor walkway outside my base, allowed it to destroy a wall panel and an improved stove with Melandra the cook stationed at it. So replacing that named taskmaster in Aesir garb and named cook in Aquilonian armor is on my to do list, if still possible.
Nope. They all spawn in those godawful generic crafter clothes now. I lost all my old crafters (All Aesir and a topless Beri to the Nemedian foundations bug)
Yea its sad that the asiers crafters not have ther full clothings anymore only the legs are still happening to be ther the rest is the ugly twin stuff blacksmith are full twin clothe i think only the dancer girl dance whit bears still have a full chlothing on after placing . Its realy sad they never fixed that but like they never fixed the cimmerian fur armor. The black fur on the shoulders is missing now since years
so far the dafarie alchemist and the aquilonien woodworker still have the full faction armore on . The jebbel sag crafters only the head and somtimes the gloves
How does one put a dollar price on in-game content? I don’t think one is allowed to sell in-game items for real-world currency because all in-game assets are the property of Funcom.
Dont worry this is happening a lot i roleplay a bit a slave trader in conan but i take stones or the souls on siptha as payment but since the shop is in the game a lot peopels try too get money too buy crom coins
Ugh I hate it now the named thrals almost all have the same clothes on…
I hate Sepermeru the most even… these ugly sideshaved dreadlocks on almost all crafter thralls…
Being able to change their looks would be nice, having unique clothing on each race would be good enough.
When it comes to diversion… I think there a little to many dark thralls… even with the Nordheimer and Cimmerian for example Dalinsia is pretty dark for a northern thrall… Eina too. It breaks immersion for me.
Sad ting is on siptha whit the floods this was a thing like all was have a uniqu clothing but since a long time it not working probaly like the asier crafters lost the black fur chest but still have the asier legs they wearing
Although Aesar craftsmen can still obtain it from the large in the exile area, due to a bug, they are now wearing worn-out clothes like other craftsmen.
Players obtain in-game props through social media and online payments. The current selling price is $4 for a single AESIR craftsman in exile and $3.5 in Septa. A complete set of craftsmen can be sold for around $30. And the quantity is extremely rare, mainly concentrated in Septa. In the place of exile, due to server transfer issues, almost no one sells them because they are really too formal.
You can still get Aesir crafters in the Frost Giant purge (and Yeit purge, but this purge sucks in comparison), named ones are wearing Pride of Aesir Pants and Bracers and Boots, some of the crafters don’t have that (just bracers and boots) but do appear unique compared to other crafter thralls
Even the non-named ones still wear Vanir clothes that are probably more unique looking compared to other thralls, I use those ones in benches that I don’t really use much. I always want to get the Aesir purge for this reason and am very fortunate that I’ve gotten it so many times.
I will hold off on running Surges for another Aesir named taskmaster and Aquilonian named cook. Until they wear their faction’s armor again.
Being able to change the clothes on crafters is a feature that cries out for implementation. Though having them in faction specific outfits would be something at least.
I currently have a number of legacy thralls like topless Beri and Daya scattered around various servers. Server transfers enabled again to get them all in one place would be outstanding. That was the plan back when transfers were possible but I didn’t get them all moved in time.
Just pointing out that such behavior is strictly against the Conan Exiles’ EULA:
You may not transfer, sell, gift, exchange, trade, lease, sublicense, or rent virtual items or virtual currency outside of the game.
Our country’s constitution protects my right to dispose of and own virtual property. Secondly, our country also stipulates that company laws cannot violate national laws. In case of conflict, national laws shall prevail. So it’s like countless companies like FUNCOM stipulate that accounts cannot be sold, but in reality, our law not only allows but also protects them. In fact, Funcom’s laws do not provide different provisions based on the laws of different countries.
But they can still ban that account from the public servers.
What recourse do you have if some one sells you their banned account?
Funcom doesn’t make laws. By purchasing their product, you make an contract (agreement) with them. Does your national law give you the right to unilaterally break the agreements you enter without repercussions?
The Aesir Taskmaster (Doria the Whipper) does look different
She wears Aesir pants, boots, and bracers and wears a top different than other Taskmasters.
Or if you get a non-named Aesir Taskmaster, they wear full Vanir clothes and look nothing like regular Taskmasters.
