So I took a glance at some posts and this came up to me. Maybe it’s been already discussed a thousand times, but, well, here it goes -
How about a God-Bubble that:
is created by a Alter or similar religious structure
ONLY protects buildings within its “range”. Everything out of it is unprotected.
It means in PVP, buildings within this range has 1 hour invincibility (per 5 hours played). Out of it, none. In PVE-C, buildings out of it can be attacked, just like PVP.
this “range” must be significantly shorter than the interval between two similar structures. Like God-Bubble range 500 meters, minimum interval 1000 meters.
No hard limits, no super castles, build freely in your safe zone, equal share of the land for everyone, and take a day off after defending for a week.
Also, here’s another idea about how to solve Archer uselessness and offline raiding Make archer range the same as player OR after being sniped, archer spots player and gain the same range as player.
Tho i dont think the cost for this invincible god bubble should be x hours played;
just let it be a farming cost as it is now (probably with higher cost than the bubble costs now cause of the stronger effect).
I think it’s a good idea, to enable safe bases, as long as something has to be done for it on a regular (daily) basis. Like for example getting zeal.
Btw: Land claiming via multiple bubbles is not a problem in this case, cause it’s already against the TOS as it is now.
The most common reason why people even overbuild is cause it’s one of the few ways to build rather safe bases. This idea would solve the “overbuilding-problem” as a side effect.
No it wouldn’t, it would just add an extra layer of protection for whatever is inside the bubble. People are still going to build physical defenses outside of that to low people down.
