Only lower tier challenges work, rare don’t.

Bug Reproduction:

Tried to do ‘kill 10 wolves’ allready killed 4 and nothing. Also tried killing the white tiger for the challenge, and also nothing

Did you try simply relogging?
Sometimes challenges don’t instantly show progress, but they’re secretly completed and need a relog before it shows up

By the way you do not loose progress in any specific challenge if you don’t finish it. The next time it appears in your list you’ll have your 4 wolves of 10. But only IF it’s not a mod problem. As far as I know at least EEWA is not recompiled for the new Chapter yet. Try to start an SP game without mods and see if challenges work for you in vanilla.
