I like the clan emblem system, but one issue some of the new items are showing (like the banner and sign from the battlepass) is that the same emblem that works on a white background won’t work on a dark background. I’d really like to have the ability to set two clan emblems, one for light, one for dark.
I’d rather have a setting for background color. I don’t want white banners with my emblem on them, white doesn’t fit my theme. The background color should not be fixed by whatever item it happens to be.
That’s a good option too.
The only thing I really like is how my clan emblem shows up on the kegs.
When it was announced I pictured the customization closer to Diablo’s. (3&4)
I know they’re busy, but we need more options.
Emblems are so…lackluster. It could have been such a good system. But it’s not.
- No choice of color for main fabric on banners
- Forced to pick symbol and background
- Images do NOT overlap between symbol and background even though many of them would work for either
- Very limited selection unless you open your wallet.
- No option for empty banners.
- No positioning alterations (one of their emblems is off center and it absolutely makes me grit my teeth every time I try to use it - offset is fine if it’s intentional and you can make it work with other stuff but, again, can’t reposition stuff and have a very very limited selection)
- Stolen emblems (I don’t PvP but I absolutely understand the desire to want to show off the fallen equipment of your enemies)
And, on top of all that, the free emblem they gave out awhile ago still doesn’t work and they even sold it in a bundle recently where there was no “already owned” credit awarded.
