Bug Description:
Pak file corrupted or has been tampered with…

Bug Reproduction:
Load in single player any map and play for about 15-30mins and get booted via crash. Only been happening since latest patch. Very stable beforehand. Almost never crashed. Verified game files many times and made sure to have good amount of space available on HDD. PS edited Game.ini to remove intro movies and edited engine.ini to alter view distance and make game beautiful.

Then make a copy of these two files to keep them and delete them from the game folder, verify to get a clean copy, see if this solves the issue.

Thank you for your response but this doesn’t resolve the issue and I have been consistently doing this for quite awhile now without crashes.

As I said, they only happen now after the latest update and sporadically at that. Further more, the game reverts the game.ini file every time it updates anyway. As for the engine one, I have encountered the issue both with and without an edited engine.ini file.

The only thing I thought it may be after some reading was related to the amount of free HDD space you had, but I resolved that issue to.

Because it worked before doesn’t mean it is not causing your issue but your call. I would not hold my breath getting a reply from Funcom. My advice would be to do a clean reinstall, deleting all including mods (don’t forget to get a backup of your saves).
