I apologize if my frustration made me sound … judgy, I guess
I understand wanting to be cautious. I just get frustrated by the unceasing calls for limits, mostly because I can’t seem to communicate what seems obvious to me: “simple” limits won’t work, because you have to set them high enough that they don’t affect the vast majority of the buildings; if you set them any lower, you’ll affect way too many perfectly reasonable builds.
By “simple”, I mean things like “don’t build more than N pieces” or “don’t claim more than N square foundations”.
If you want a limit that will be useful, it will have to be much more complicated than that, and even then there will always be cases not covered by those limits that the admins will have to investigate and act upon.
What we need are better servers, case-by-case explanations of how the rules were broken, and warnings before the admins act.
Any single one of those would improve things considerably, and all three would probably be downright freaking amazing
