I think that’s the same one who banned like half the weapons in the game too.

I think everyone is missing the â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  point.

I think everyone is missing the point

On the official forums? impossible!

Not missing the point… p2w complaints are waaaay overblown in CE, so with freedom to interpret, “admin abuse” is a less tired complaint… well… maybe not, hard to say. “Yet another bazaar complaint thread” is already exhuasting.

It might not affect you but it does for those who are experiencing it. So as someone who has experienced it I know exactly how and why they’re OP.

For purely PVE this means it’s actually a welcome advantage since you have more defence against purges. Yay!

But for PVP it is a different story.

If it was an element anyone could use without a cost no one would have an issue with it. But it isn’t now is it?

That means for someone who chose not to purchase it or were unlucky and missed the window, they’re fvcked.

What is more exhausting is everyone just whistling by with their browned noses up in the air and pretending everything is fine.

It would be a bigger deal if every day there weren’t 2 new “Bazaar evil” threads. Guaranteed it’s all white noise to FC now.

How is a Battlepass tapestry you get for free P2W?!

While not everyone agrees on each individual sub-topic within it or in general it does point to that volume being a concern.

If FC does in fact read everything and considers it white noise that is pretty damning.

The volume of complaint threads doesn’t invalidate this matter though.

But sure, add it to the pile of pretend-it-doesn’t-exist.

I still struggle to decide what is even ever won. I don’t doubt people have fun in PVP, I’ve just never understood why.

The rule of this private server is to blanket ban anything within BLB and BP so they don’t have to pick, choose and list each.

Sometimes it is easier than allowing any items as they are released only to find out after it is a problem.

You’d be surprised what items failed to be caught in QA though. Reminiscing about a certain pillar that took a year to resolve…

It’s not a matter of pretending it doesn’t exist; people want something for their money, and in this particular case, people have wanted pyramids and so there had to be a pyramid topper. In the case of the gibbet flip out, it was the question of a small difference in space. In the case of the Nemedian peaked roofs, it’s kinda the same as the pyramid topper. Unless I’m mistaken, it’s not so different than a peaked rooftop so, I don’t see the outcry. They can be blown up, same as anything else. FC got grief for getting rid of fence foundation stacking despite the silliness of that. FC got grief for equip unequip despite the silliness of that. It should come as no surprise that “wolf” has been cried too much, and the “feedback”, if we can call it that, is overwhelmingly negative and of an overwhelmingly small fraction of the total playerbase, so I don’t really consider it damning. I merely feel bad for the FC employees who still get up and sift thru for anything valuable to pass to the devteam each day (which they do). They are still reading and noting every point that is made, but I wouldn’t expect the dev team to say “Oh here we go, another complaint about p2w about the same thing using an example off a private server. Guess we should not include things people want aesthetically people have been asking for like pyramids and stuff, especially because they say in the same breath they want stuff cheaper too. So let’s give this a try, let’s make stuff cheaper and less useful.”

Why is it that Dune Awakening doesn’t have a forum and instead, has a discord? I wonder.

Nothing wrong with the style of building. Pyramids? Finally! Great. Aesthetics is not the issue.

It’s how hard it is to place bombs on it and in some instances the damage distribution is uneven/doesn’t take. If you’re under the gun and trying to drop and go it can be almost impossible. That would make sense since it is very different from the rooftop cap variants available. Nemedian is very similar. If there was a variant available for both that functioned the same way that wasn’t a DLC or in BLB, again, there’d be nothing to complain about. It is useful for those who purchase it and can take advantage of the mechanics of it. But those who have not?

Yes, it is not a big deal for the majority of players since PVP is a small part of the community. But we still exist. The game mode is still offered.

Any game is going to get negative feedback. If that negative feedback is only viewed contentiously, yes, it is damning. A business shouldn’t consider only positive feedback. Of course it is crucial that those providing the feedback give polite and constructive criticism and there’s been plenty of that.

There’s also a lot of toxic positivity though.

I’ve said often that all building pieces need to be looked at for continuity. There’s a mix mash of different attributes to each and can be assumed that the workflow is based on the model rather than a continuous view on all building pieces. It’s a problem; especially when new building pieces are released that have new attributes or are missed, change the effect or don’t behave as the rest. Here is a video that explains what I mean.

And with that, I’m out. The forum can burn for all I care.

Funcom considers all feedback, negative or positive.

They just ignore insults from non-playing trolls. If you’re being ignored… well then its time to look in the mirror.

How dare people enjoy something I don’t like :rage: that’s toxic of them.

But not me, my negativity isn’t toxic at all

And this is the main point. Much like when people complain about requests for nerfs that effects PvE, things that do not effect PvE but DO effect PvP also need to be taken into consideration. We ALL play this game, and we ALL deserve to be able to enjoy this game without items being sold that give unfair advantages to a select few. ESPECIALLY when Funcom themselves have consistently stated that they will only ever sell cosmetics and not power (which they have gone on to break just as consistently, though they usually patch those items “eventually”).

So instead of complaining about the fact that someone is calling out the fact that this specific item does in fact offer an unfair advantage, at least in PvP, as @Kikigirl was kind enough to point out to you, perhaps you all could take this information and stop and think for a moment. This goes expressly against what the company has stated they would offer to us, the customers, and yet here they are doing exactly that. We SHOULD be calling them out over it. We SHOULD NOT be complaining about how:

or

But then again,

So…by by!
