So only human NPC 2 scull bosses? no animals then?

My feedback on how enemy humans behave now…
Reducing their range of engagement make bots leave in the middle of the fight (they just returning to their posts and do not react to my hits keep regenerating and run away) Hmmm?
Really breaking the battle scenery, or maybe i dont understand smth.
But now AI behave very strange.
Some times they just stand still (probably confused what to do, run to the spawnpoint or keep fighting) and not reacting to my blows. And then, turning back on me and running away regenerating hp…

On that note, I’ve had archers (most specifically in the Midnight Grove) spot me, take a step towards me, run back immediately… And they took too much time to react after when I was approaching them! Ridiculous!

Yep, zone restricted combat now looks very jumpy and trashy, 1 step back and battle almost resetting itself.
So my verdict for now -those changes are negative for the combat in many cases. =(

well, I’ve already waited over 20 minutes in the galleon twice

If I load up my existing dedicated server after this update, do I keep my character, base and all my gear? Does all the existing gear retain old properties, or convert to all the new changes in Age of War? It seems many weapons changed. It would be fun to have old and new sets, but I imagine everything gets converted to the new?

Also, I’m definately not loading my server until the stability bug is patched. I like building in Nemedian.

A big camp may have multiple spawns and only one will spawn at a given interval. Just clear capitals multiple times. You’re bound to find some.

Rollback wont help with stability item decay, tried on personal private server by doing it it still instant decays when in render distance of unstable objects.

Whats the go with Fragments of Power being removed from recipes?

From Patch Notes: Crafting:
“Fragment of Power has been removed from most crafting recipes”

All weapon oils and Bindings of the Dead still require fragments. So are there at least 7 other recipes which had frags removed? Or does the patch note need to be amended/removed?

On oils, looking for general opinion on how to best use/make them viable? They seem overly punitive.

Please, where do I sign for they give us option in the ServerSettings.Ini to adjust the character outer radiance intensity or switch it off? This “amazing” quality of life feature absolutely kills the fun and the roleplay on our server where we really enjoy the nights! We used to…

This is a must option for the private servers. Please. I’m desperate!

In my experience, using the Oil of Bounty gives a massive boost when harvesting resources and that’s probably the only oil I really used…
Now I haven’t tested if they made a change on it, but what made those oils kinda broken was how you could repair the weapons/tools before the timer expired by using the Repairing Grindstone.

Still, I could see myself putting an Oil of Agony on the Blade of Seven Winds if legendaries were repairable, but now I don’t think it’s worth…

@Funcom_Community Im wondering why toggleDebugHud was deactivated, is it a buggy? is it intented? i dint see any mention to it in patch notes. In every online igame i play and played, there is a way to check the ping. Its very important bu on CE not possible more. This ablity was ripped off, and why? Yesterday i was looking some treasures, and my thrall and the mobs was simple doing nothing. To a mob aggro on any thing you need lietary aprouch it and kick their as=5, tipically it happens when the ping is very high. Another important information it showed was the conssume of memory. Please consider activating it back or offer another way to check those info in game.

I had to stop my server from running so none of our friends accidentially logs in and destroys their and our bases. My other half is so pissed right now he says, if he is loosing his stuff, he is quitting for good. And I am pissed because I now pay for a server my friends and I can not use.

I have to wonder how Funcom thinks to compensate us for that? Let me guess, not at all.

And you still wonder why this game has such a bad reputation.

I do not have any attributes in authority, I have not unlocked the “irritate” perk, and yet I run into enemies while my pet is following 20 meters behind only for said enemies to go past me and attack my pet :rofl:

Do I have to unlock the perk, then turn it off on my pet, then re-roll my attribute points?
I have no clue anymore lmao

I try to make it short. And sorry for writing out of frustration but that’s what I am… frustrated.

This update completely ruined the game balance/experience (PvE side of view).

  • Combat is easier then it has ever been. I’m able to finish most enemies with one heavy hit of a 1h axe while using endgame gear.
  • The new stamina system does it’s trick in making combat even more easy. No need to manage stamina at all. You run out off it just wait a second and you’re back in.
  • You can’t perform full combo chains with 2h weapons without investing several points into a stamina feat. Thx for taking away the freedom of choice on how to skill your character. But in the end there is no need to do full combo chains at all. You deal so much damage or enemies got so low health that the best strategy for ANY enemy is to do 1-2 hits, roll, repeat…
  • A corrupted player has a hard time to get the ability to do do full combo chains at all. Again… you don’t need them anymore.
  • Variety and fun of combat is gone completly. No need to mix up light and heavy attacks for any encounter. Just as written above: 1-2 hits, roll, repeat… Win in no time, without the need of any skill or strategy for anything.
  • Non repairable legendaries are still no reason to revisit any location but the one I know I will find the desired item or the one that is the easiest grind for RNG it.
  • changes to aggro of NPCs makes combat a quite strange experience while NPCs decide to return to their post in mid combat. It makes exploring much easier and not “more deadly” like it should be in a game like this.

I like the new weapon categories and that legendaries are the strongest weapons you may get.
I liked the ne attribute system introduced in Age of Sorcery but it’s somewhat ruined with the new stamina “rebalance”.
Also like the new stygian themed items and most of the other stuff from AoW update.

To be honest I would have loved it if there has only been a weapon rebalance without the stamina changes. Also without NPC aggro changes. The goal of creating shorter combats has been achieved. Making them more dangerous or challenging is a complete fail.
Sorry for the hard words but I don’t have any fun playing PvE anymore.

exactly this aggro changing to our thralls is what i hate. I run into the enemys they getting aggro and the first thing they do is attacking my horse then they switching to me and in the half way they decide to attack my thrall. What i do in this situations i go back to my base and log out because it is extremely unfunny and boring.
