Not sure what happen to the purge bug cause I usually playing offline then I turn it off, but I’m sure Funcom working to find out what happen so I’m sorry that you are angry mate and they just came back to work.
So true, they just came back to work… Yet they managed to release the DLC… A company with pride would hold it off until they have fixed the major issues, this is just a money grab from a desperate company with no pride in their work whatsoever.

Didn’t Funcom said they had separate team call the 3d artist? that they work with their own pace and not related to the main team?

If you don’t understand the game development process, why not admit ignorance and give them the benefit of the doubt because you don’t know any better? There’s no shame in not knowing some things.
You could argue that they should hold off on releasing DLC so that people like yourself don’t get trigger happy despite it not being as blasphemous as it seems to people like yourself - but - there’s really no reason to go that route.

Also, I love seeing that your answer to the TOS situation is not to punish those who violated it, but to remove the board for reporting it and changing it to some crappy name and saying “too bad, we already got your money, the TOS doesn’t really mean anything:” Basically any agreement with Funcom isn’t worth the paper it is written on. Explains a lot about your company and why you are having the problems you are with this game. You focus on DLC not fixing the game, you don’t actually care about the player experience…this is a cash grab free-for-all and nothing more. Don’t get me wrong, still going to play…you said griefing is alright so I guess we will find out how acceptable when those being griefed finally start griefing back and I can deal with what it is. If someone blocks an obelisk and forces people to kill themselves and lose all their equipment and there is no real recourse since it is a PvE and there is no way to truly retaliate other than to kite world bosses to the structure and wait a while, but that is okay for Funcom…deal with it, that is not griefing, it doesn’t really affect your game play…just always run, you can run from the Unnamed City right?

Ofc it is true. I’m a developer myself altho not in the game industry. So yea I know the difference between a 3D artist and a developer. I think you miss the point, they are from the same company… If they would hold it off until they fix the major issues, it would come across a little bit better. But yea that is just me, trigger happy, ignorant and ashamed because I do not know some things…

I understand that the art team has nothing to do with design and what the time they spend on DLCs does not take time away from the designers. What I think people have a problem with or would feel more comfortable with, is not releasing those DLCs until major bugs are fixed. Holding off on releasing the DLCs does not affect the art team. They likely are already working on the next DLC and maybe the next one after that.
It’s tough, because you are right in that ‘perception is reality’ so to speak, but at the same time, if the people doing the perceiving understood game development better, they would not be offended by cosmetic DLC coming out while we await much-needed fixes.
Should I be denied access to DLC that’s ready to go, just because a number of people don’t understand the game development process? That’s legitimately unfair, whereas ‘DLC before fixes’ is perceived-but-not-legitimately unfair.
I’m so glad we have people like you around to explain to the ignorant trigger happy number of people how the game development process works…

I’m glad too, but it won’t help if you are incapable of or unwilling to learn from the information made available to you. The way you continue to parrot my words ‘ignorant’ and ‘trigger happy’ could be perceived as you still missing the point, or refuting its veracity.
Holding off DLC until fixing major issues is simply called decency/doing the right thing… I’m not sure what more I can add to that tbh.

And please don’t get started about things being unethical, while playing a game that features slavery.
DLCs attract new players which is a good thing despite the game’s bugs. Funcom doesn’t pocket every cent or use it all to pay salaries. Money can go to hardware upgrades.
