PC Microsoft Store game owners can no longer play online

Pretty much the title. Since CE:Enhanced has released on Steam, the old gen game services on PC have been discontinued. As a game owner on the Microsoft Store this means I can’t play online. I’ve wanted to move to Steam for ages, as the Microsoft Store store version of the game has obscure update problems that have never been fixed (Funcom told me its Microsofts fault, MS told me its FC’s fault).

Now, the only reason I haven’t done so is because of all the original battlepass unlocks. To my knowledge none of it is available anymore even as Bazar purchases. I don’t even mind buying the game and its DLC’s again (Steam Sales) but that nagging feeling of missing the decorative stuff I had before… yeah.

Given the circumstances, would FC consider a transfer of the unlocks to Steam, or something along those lines.

If you’re not worried about the money element, I’m pretty sure the battlepass unlocks are available on the CEE store (Not sure if it’s all of them or just most). See this post/thread for daily listings of what’s available.

But, yes - I agree with you, as do many others - this should be a thing. After all, these unlocks were bound to your Funcom account, not your game copy - which is why they are not accessible if you are offline, or if Funcom Live Services fails (or is shut down at some point). So they should be easy to transfer to another game copy on the same Funcom account.
