PC Player transfer from Siptah 2026 - Tips

My experience when I transferred from Siptah to Exiles on PC/Steam after this latest update

5 camels, 3 horses, 1 cat (which has 10 inventory slots) overall a total of 65 thralls.

I was clan leader and the only one in the clan. When I quit the clan (required for transfer), I retained all thralls(65) and inventory.

You CAN NOT be over encumbered when you transfer. I was at 98%.

The transfer was fairly simple. Its a good idea to have an idea what server you want to go to and make sure you dont already have a character on that server.

When I first started the transfer process it showed I had 0 thralls with me. I just cancelled and waited a few minutes. When I tried again it showed I had 65 thralls. I followed all the steps (pretty easy)

It logged me off the server when it finished. I picked a new server and it loaded me in on the character creation screen. One of the options was “import character” . I picked that and it worked.

Here is the tricky part. It spawned me, all by myself, into the Black Keep dungeon in E11. I am not sure what part of the dungeon it was but it took about 10 scary minutes of trying to find a way out. I finally found the secret door (looks like a wall) and it morphed me outside.

I played on this map years ago and remembered that the long bridge to get to a warmer climate, will freeze you to death unless you are prepared for it. I wasn’t. Luckily though I had a 10 stack of healing potion in my inventory. Half way across the bridge, being chased by undead soldiers, I was almost dead. I had just enough time to heal up and make it the rest of the way. I MADE IT!!

I immediately found a spot and built a small building. Once I had a place I could go to my “followers” menu and one by one , respawn them. After respawning 64 followers it would not let me spawn #65. It said I had to many followers. I created a clan with just me and it still wouldn’t work. I just deleted on of the camels after I emptied it and spawned the 65th.

TLDNR - Take a stack of healing potions, and be ready to defend yourself. Take enough supplies to build a quick building including construction hammer. You will arrive ALONE. Hope that helps someone .Good Luck!!

Excellent guide.

Hopefully folks having issues will find it helpful.

Follow-up - on etiquette in joining a new server.

I know this will sound like a, “Well, duh! Of course!” moment, but, as it happened to me, I want to have folks prepare for it.

As Exiled Lands servers start to get more folks, you may meet people who demand you tear down your base and move because, and I quote, “I always build there!”

On public servers, it is a first come, first serve situation. If folks always build somewhere they have three options:

  1. Solo/co-op game

  2. Rent a private server

  3. Find a server that does not have a base where they “always build”

If anyone is harassed to move via in-game chat our vindictive build, report the harasser.

Again, I know this seems to be common sense, but so does NOT building a base on a public server that encompases most of a map square. Yet, here we are.

And to note, I don’t report these folks, because my public server playthroughs are limited to week long tests of ideas and base builds. I had planned to let my Siptah Server expire in June, but I will wipe and prep it for May 5th and see if the game is stable enough to warrant a long term play session.

One more thing. All of my followers were full inventory and all inventory came with them
