Try this solution suggested by @droch-aon - it should work for UE4.
I’m playing enhanced not UE4 but will try
Ah - then it should work fine - but you should also be aware that this thread is the patchnotes for the UE4 update yesterday. (There were no patchnotes for the small UE5 update we got yesterday.)
Yeah I know but since it’s the only pc patchnotes , and the issue appeared after the small patch , it’s the best place we were given to discuss it
I can’t download this patch because Steam always shows “no Internet Connection”. Is there any solution or will there be a fix for this? I’m unable to play on my servers without this patch because they updated automatically.
Hi and welcome to the forums ![]()
Unfortunately, that sounds a lot more like a Steam problem than a problem with this game. If your copy of Steam is consistently offline and won’t allow you to download the update, you may need to solve some problem with Steam.
The problem is that i’m not really offline and steam is displaying false information. I can run Discord, an onlinegame and so on without any problem only if i try to start this patch it say’s that i’m offline. There are other players from my Servers with the same issue. I can start the game manually with conansandbox.exe and it connects with funcom live services but i can’t log into my servers because i can’t load this patch. Patches from other games load normally.
Are you on CE Legacy (UE4) or CE Enhanced (UE5)?
I’m on Legacy.
Then this is the correct patch (darn - I was hoping it was just that you were trying to download the wrong patch, as that would be the easiest solution…).
That also brings another problem, which is that there is much less support available for Legacy. It might still be worth trying to send a request to helpshift Contact Us — Conan Exiles Help Center - maybe there is something that can be done to help. It is doubtful though - it still seems to be Steam that is displaying the incorrect information.
(Whatever the situation, it is unlikely you will receive any official reply here over the weekend - the community team normally only work during the week. Plus the Community Manager (Dana) is on her annual vacation until ‘mid July’, so that may be a further problem.) The best I can suggest is try helpshift, but also try contacting Steam, since the message being displayed really does suggest a problem there.
