When I mine with pickaxe, camel is too close quite often.
It causes stuck situation of player character too.
Pet camel should stay away some more from player character.

Same here, my rhino’s head/horn kept crashing into my main fov. I had to leave it to guard my base, and picked a different pet to follow me.
Yes, this. I don’t seem to have this issue with any other pet. It’s very annoying, to point where I give up using the camel and just take one of bears instead.
They should stay behind several paces, be passive, and actually have more health. You would think that a pet entrusted to carry a bunch of items for you would be tougher.
