No, that was before.
A year ago he was nerfed, and at zero level he gave 10-12 units of damage, half as much as a wild hyena… I tested it myself.

They can also be a reward from the purge, got 3 of them that way. Could’ve been unlucky of course, but it’s pretty rare from my experience.
30 purges 3 frost giants.

Why would a sabertooth one shot a Darfari? It would most likely be the other way.
1 stab with a pike, or 1 good hit in the skull and the kitty goes to sleep.

It’s sad how people don’t even play this game, return after 10 years and start ■■■■■■■■ about changes that real fans who were all the time here on the forum and played the game asked for.

I agree on AI, it’s predictable and dumb, but it was still too much for some people and some community youtubers, so to cater to their skill level they left the AI stupid but made it blind and deaf.

It was estimated that actual Smildons could weigh over six hundred pounds. One jumping on a Darfari, and they would likely feel it. Or even just swatting a Human, nevermind the claws.

For there Size? They are likely 500-800ib cats, and skulls likely alot thicker, (not mention reinforcement for those 2 Teeth. Also flat headed, Likely would not get a good throw or stab head on, You likely nick skull and drop one into there very muscular Shoulders… and die rather quickly before you got a 2nd chance. XD

Even if you manage to get lucky. Its not magiclly stop and fall… its gonna ram into alive or dead. XD

You ever watch Tiger(And Loins) play tug of War with several guys? They are so much stronger then us.

I would go even further and remove them from thrall-able options.

Some creatures are un-tame-able or one can’t tame them fully, and some creatures are just cretins - huge cats fit into both of these categories.

Just tame a tiger and tell him to attack someone or to bring you your flip flops… good luck… :joy:

The taming of a tiger makes it not kill you, 99% of times. Thats it.

I won’t even mention snakes and their intelligence in alpha v.0.0.1

Yeah that’s another thing. Pets like the Frost Giant, Sand Reaper Queen, Yeti are a bad joke. Those things should be able to solo like 15 Tier V purge guys at the same time easy. If you’re going to put massive pets in the game, they should be amazing. just make them really hard to get, or temporary or shrink em down or something. tbh, they should be tougher enemies at well. And I don’t mean just making them always 1-shot you or they have 1M hp, I mean give them interesting mechanics & abilities. That is SORELY missing in this game.

We got circuses in real life where tigers and lions etc. do what they’re told to do. It’s not without risk for sure, but possible.
(For Siegfried it didn’t work out too well though :sweat_smile:)

And we can summon a snake avatar with set. :man_shrugging:
Snakes and insects are more unrealistic, sure.
But so is their size in the game.

I know CE is “low fantasy” but still fantasy. And i‘m not a fan of removing content.
It’s already frustrating that FC removed the witch doctor scroll.

Anyways, FC has much more important things to do atm. But in comparison to endgame thralls, most pets are just a joke.
They shouldn’t be overpowered, but still worth the time.

This would actually be against the lore. Using Giant Snakes and Large Cats as guard animals is a thing in the original stories.
