[Free text] the pet resource item conversion process is not worth time for any player it’s has taken 4 hours to make 3 iron and 2 crystal with 3 rocknoses
Just wanted to point out that pets generating resources isn’t going to be a substitute for hunting for resources out into the world, but it will supplement it. However, we may need to tweak the numbers a bit, so I will write that down in our suggestions document
Always happy to give feedback just that all stuff I have heard is it’s ment to be one to one rate and it just kept giveing stone so it wasent really generating anything
Though if a feature has no reason to be there, then why would anyone use that feature?
The sole other reason is for some animal to accompany him.
Mad_bash said it took 4 hours to get 3 iron and 2 crystals. Thats a single glass and 1,5 iron bars…
You know, with a player skilled for 50 encumbrance and 20 survival easily harvesting 20k iron ore in roughly 20 minutes…
I think 10 ore per hour might be called supplement.
(But dont go overboard yet again. No 100 ore/hour. )
I suggest the number be tweaked for any of the resources for 1/4 a stack per 24 hours real time. basically you would have 7 stacks every 4 weeks from 1 animal. Maybe with higher tier stuff, gold and silver, etc., it would be 1/8 a stack per 24 hours.
As @Nuria said it has to be some sort of incentive to use, as one can do:
20000 crystal in about an hour from caves
4000 hide in 30 minutes
20000 stone in 30 minutes
20000 iron in 30 minutes
9000 brimstone per 1 hour (respawn wait )
If i need something in mass, i can farm it, but having a pet supply those little extras in base if i am wanting to do a quick armor build, addition, etc. would be nice.
