Game mode: Single-player
Type of issue: Bug
Server type: N/A
Region: N/A
Mods?: Yes (Savage Wilds)
Edition: Steam

* * *

## Bug Description:

Carnivorous pets take excessive amounts raw meat and/or fish out of the feed box, resulting in waste and cluttered inventory. Horses also take meat despite not being able to eat it.

* * *

## Expected Behavior:

Pets should only take food if they need to eat and don’t already have food in their inventory.

They should only take food they can eat, and they should not hoard food in their inventory.

* * *

## Installed Mods:

Savage wilds map. The bug occurs on that map as well.

* * *

## Steps to Reproduce:

1. Acquire pets(Dogs, Sand Reapers, Spiders, Yakith, Horses)
2. Place a feed box within range of the pets.
3. Place meat in the box.
4. Wait for several days.
5. Observe stacks of meat in the pets’ inventories.
