I sure do think this game could use a boost , maybe free give away on steam and a dlc sale, to get people hooked. it would be a welcome boost every 300 players from north america would be huge, we need a injection of players because this game is super underated and is actually great,

The first mistake is steam. I would recomend Epic games app since it doesn’t use all that third party software.
You could give away the game for free and all the DLC for free and still not have a healthy player base. To do that you need to actually make the game long-term enjoyable by fixing bugs and completing content. It’s an amazing game that loses people because they get frustrated and bored.
To deal with frustration, fix the numerous severe bugs.
To deal with boredom, also the above - purges could give the game more longevity if they weren’t so buggy and weak. And finish content - there are many areas and dungeons that look like they were designed to have an encounter, but they’re just empty. And many encounters that could do with a good dose of creativity.
Despite some people having opinions against Steam, it is a hugely popular platform. Epic Games has its own issues that make people reluctant to use it, so migrating from Steam to Epic isn’t an instant path to success. (Also, Conan Exiles was supposed to be released on Epic Games Store some time ago, but apparently Epic Games decided to postpone the release indefinitely.)
