World bosses, I guess. That’s where “regular” legendaries come from.

I would rather not bet on the skeleton key lottery to get the exact legendary I want because the pool of possible drops is so big. Craftables will still have a place in the game even if they’re not the best, stat-wise, because you’re guaranteed to get the exact weapon you want, when you want it.

But if you do want a particular legendary, other players would be a pretty good potential provider.

Yeah, I agree, but I wouldn’t wanna trade anything of significantly greater value. My preferred weapon rn isn’t even available on EL, so it’s not even a question. I like the Feroxic War Axe. Only wish I had learned the recipe in a transfer. Rip.

@Pixelcave with the delicious drip marketing.
Taverns to keep you say?
Is the Age of Decadent Civilization next?

It is welcome news and they did an excellent job of not actually spoiling anything.
Well done all around.

I utilize what I call steak-based economy on my server. I figure grilled steak is pretty much the most basic staple, so I go on the assumption the effort to craft a stack of grilled steaks (including farming materials and the crafting itself) approximately equivalent to the effort involved to mint one gold coin. As such a stack of grilled steak is worth one gold coin. For items other than steak, I just extrapolate the effort required in comparison to estimate a rough value. I use bronze coins as placeholders in our bank for 1000 gold coins, and 100 silver coins is worth one gold coin.

I think that the best way to have player shops implemented is to have 1 NPC in Sepermeru act as an auctioneer and you can sign your items at this NPC.
When someone wants to buy something, they can access a list of items from all players combined. Player names would be hidden to avoid harrasment or toxic competition.
NPC cannot be killed and players don’t take more space to build a shop.
In this way, we would have a safe and efficient way to ensure trading between players.

We could also have a placeable that we can use in our base as an instance/copy of that auctioneer NPC, so we can have easy access to buy/sell stuf faster.
