Player Report / Rumor

There is a rumor that Funcom stoped paying the company that is responsible for Player reports on Console so they stoped working and now its lawless land. Has anyone on Console (PS) had an Ticket submitted and got answer or even the feeling that something was done about players or clans?

I can’t say anything definite, but it seems unlikely. Helpshift is used for all CEE bug reports as well as for player reports on console. If they had stopped paying for it, then it would be preventing all CEE bug reports from reaching the devs.

Just report it through Sony instead

We were fighting some cheats that had a base with alters under the map and land claim stretching multiple grid squares over an entire biome. We reported but nothing seemed to be done for weeks. After they used multiple gods with the server transfer dupe their land claim mysteriously disappeared. We don’t know if they picked it up or the admins did. But then a week or so later the admins got back to us saying that the were taking action. We didn’t see the other clan at all for at least a week so maybe they were suspended. We know that the admins were definitely active though as to combat their land claim we had put down some land claim which was admin wiped and one of our team was suspended.

This was all recent so it may not be as lawless as you think. Just be aware if you resort to extreme measures to survive against cheats, you may not be the one who survives.

Its the same on PC, Again we reported blocked content walled off sections of map we do get the bs we are looking into it and even got a problem resolved but nothing was done. Funcom does not enforce the rules in anyway. Need to cap how many pieces a person and clan can have down just like thralls end the problem real quick. the garbage servers cant handle a 2 square build

That doesn’t work…Sony doesn’t care about funcoms issues. Sony cares about Sony

Report the players to Sony. If they’re found to be cheating, Sony enforcement will take care of it.

It would explain why I do not hear a thing back though…

With bug reports the automatic reply explains why you will not hear anything back about that bug report. With other (non bug) reports, like purchase problems you should hear back (doesn’t mean it is guaranteed). What was explained to me was that after you send in a ticket (non-bug) and get the automatic reply, you should reply to that to say that the problem is still ongoing - that is supposed to make sure that a live operator gets to it at some point and it doesn’t get automatically closed by the system. It’s also worth bearing in mind that last I heard they had more than a month of backlog to get through, so there are likely to be delays on some tickets.

Good to know! I will let my collogues from the support team know :joy:
All joes aside, we still have an active support team that looks at all tickets.
It takes time as they are a small team and they are doing their best to work through the backlog of tickets.
All player reports are manually reviewed and investigated by the team.

For bug reports specifically, our support team can’t help much besides passing the issue over to the rest of the dev team.
These are usually handles automatically and handed over to the dev qa team.

Hope this helps!
