thats so wrong lol, i mean what you just said is the dream of every c suite cargo cult manager but it just aint gonna happen. the companies that jump on that bandwagon now will go out of business and be replaced.

I was being mildly facetious, but not by much. The point is it doesn’t take a $1M a year budget to fix these types of problems, especially these days.
But if you guys want to turn this into a discussion about weather or not AI is going to replace devs or not:
Sundar Pichai (Google), Satya Nadella (Microsoft) have both publicly stated around 30% of their code is now AI-generated, so it’s not theoretical, it’s already happening. If I remember correctly Altman on an interview with his brother stated 40%.
Mark Zuckerberg (Meta) says this year AI will preform the work of mid-level engineers, which we’re already seeing with tools like codex.
Microsoft has already started layoffs for software engineering roles.
I could go on, but I can’t really be bothered. Lots of entry level guys like ScriptMage or w/e with the laughing gif have probably already been laid off, so it seems a little late to cope.
If you think AI isn’t ready to do mid-level work yet try Codex, and consider right now AI is as dumb as it’s ever going be.
Suffice to say, this isn’t some major “techinical vision & strategy” roll here or something like that, and that was my point. This doesn’t cost a shit ton of money to fix, even the tiniest of budgets will suffice, it just needs visibility to be a priority. Even modders with only basic understanding of UE4 have already fixed it… for free… Granted, this was a wish in one hand shit in the other and see what fills up first sort of situation, so I’m not deluding myself, but trying is free.

I’m not sure what moderator you have simping for you so hard, or why anyone does for that matter, but the posts I made that you got deleted show an impressive level of abuse of authority considering they had literally nothing in them that would warrant deletion. Well done.
Just so I understand correctly, both you and covid mask no longer post on the forums, and yet you both came back just to tell me how upset you are? I must have really had a big impact on you both, you seem pretty dedicated. I don’t think I’ve made a post on here in the last few years that the three of you haven’t ■■■■■■ and moaned about how triggered you are by me. Glad to see I made such a big impression.

One thing I will agree with you on. Unfortunately I don’t believe they will ever get it fixed. Conan has such great potential but Funcom flopped hard.
