Sorry, I cannot unlearn the game

Still, triple Thag’s HP and make him one shot me with any attack, I will have to be more careful but he will still be easy despite being more tedious, because everything in Conan Exiles is slow and you can dodge for free, so yes, everything is easy (especially with current stamina system).

That’s a very good point from @CodeMage and I want to emphasize on this to answer you @LostBrythunian

Any run of The Binding of Isaac where you don’t get an extremely broken item is tremendously more difficult than the entirety of Conan PvE.

Same with Hades, to name one of the games I love because of the challenge and difficulty (I play Hell Mode with 20-30 heat, so even more difficult than that).

Any PvP game that requires mechanical skill will be tremendously more challenging and demanding than Conan PvE, and that also applies to Conan PvP when you can actually get a fight instead of an offline raid because fighting another player will demand more skill than fighting any world boss.

Still, I’m pretty sure the sheer mechanical requirements in many games makes Conan really pale in comparison. Have you played Devil May Cry 5? I don’t like the forced camera and I personally don’t recommend the game, but the amount of mechanical skill required to beat the game is at least 20 times the requirement to solo Thag.

And of course, PvP wise, let’s not forget Smash Bros Melee and the amount of input required to play Fox optimally :notlikethis:

All this to say what?

→ Conan is an easy game. You fail at first due to lack of knowledge, like in most games. Then when you have gathered enough information and got familiar with the fighting system, as well as enemy patterns… You can just time your dodges and you have mastered PvE. Before the Age of War there was at least a component of Stamina Management which was required for some bossfights with a shield; no longer.

→ The only ways to lose a fight in Conan PvE if you are actually trying are:
• Lag, lmfao.
• Weird aggro, which mostly happens when you have a follower (soloing PvE is much more reliable)
• Bugs??? Sometimes nonsensical things just happen, I remember using a katana to dash through a dragonling, and it sent me flying 50 meters above which resulted in GRAVITY killing me
• Lack of awareness of your surroundings, resulting in being outnumbered, stunlocked, and body blocked to death (this happens way less due to infinite rolling, but can still happen)
• Lack of preparation, because really I know I can solo Rotbranch naked with a Repair Hammer and a DMG kit, but it will take so much time that I am likely going to make a mistake at one point and that could potentially kill me  Nonetheless, any competent player could solo every boss with iron weapons, it would just be a massive pain because of the time it takes.
