It was. They changed it so nemedian foundations rotate in a certain direction while they get placed. Simple logic tells you that this can and most likely will effect existing building pieces. And had they communicated this before the update, people would have had enough time to prepare and replace their foundations or pick their workbenchens, thralls etc up before the update hits live. People didn´t had to loose everything but they did. And this is pur Funcom´s fault.
It doesn´t matter if they intentionally break things or not. It their responsibility to make sure to check and double check their updates properly before they go live. And the same goes for changing things like decay timer. Their internal structures are chaotic and messy. And this is greately reflecting their updates.
Everybody knows that bugs in games can happen, regardless of how thorough you are. But thats not what we are talking about here.
The player is the one who pays for Funcom’s sloppiness, every time. And every time they apologize without there being any real changes afterwards. On the contrary. It happens over and over again. Sloppy mistake, apologize, xp and gather rates raised for a couple of days on officials, rinse and repeat. And that is inexcusable.
