Dont like the update stop playing, let the forum for people that actually like the game and keep playing.

If being vocal in these forums is what shapes game design, then no. Was happily playing never visiting these forums until I read the announcement over a month ago and new it would be sub optimal. It appears players can influence decisions that drastically change the game, so Iā€™m going to start adding my input instead of just going along for the ride.

@Agnusthemagi I am sorry. Cant enjoy the game atm but I would like to. You can go and play. When the system changes you can keep playing or move on as per your very own advice.

Yeah but the system is curently nice, people that are vocal agains it didnā€™t even let the time for proper test.

So no, the forum actual shenanigan is a nonsence that should at least slow down if it donā€™t stop.

I understand you, but it should still be possible to post concerns.
The problem of many threads is that they are mostly emotional breakdowns and not constructive critic.

For what itā€™s worth, my fiance and I have enjoyed the update. We have had no problems with any of it. I especially like the new dodging and inertia changes. I think it makes the game less ā€˜easyā€™, and more fun.

Did you assume these forums were just for you and the content you want to discuss? I could understand your frustration if thats the case, but then also have to assume you are entitled, self absorbed, single minded, and worst of all, completely ignorant.

so, what is it? whats your major malfunction?

your title literally reads like these posts are stopping people from playing the game. Little dramatic, donā€™t you think?

Thanks! FWIW, I agree that thereā€™s been a lot of non-constructive criticism and that some people post their discontent in a way thatā€™s downright vitriolic. Heck, in the brief time since Iā€™ve become a really active forum poster, Iā€™ve had several moments when I felt I needed a break, because it can get seriously toxic.

All Iā€™m trying to say is that trying to silence people is something thatā€™s unproductive at best and rude at worst :wink:

The whole point of the forums is for discourse on the state of the game. If people are frustrated by a recent patch, they have the right to come in and voice their concerns. Constructive criticism is always valuable for game development. I personally am not a big fan of the new update but if the developers think they want to go in a particular direction, more power to them. We can complain about it and they can choose to ignore it and go in the direction they want, for better or worse.

Most forums are toxic, but there have been quite a few regulars here that are insightful and logical which goes a long way. Some forums donā€™t even have these kinds of folks.

Iā€™m here because I cant play the game at work but can have a discussion about the game , but doesnā€™t mean Iā€™m gonna agree with every Tom, Dick and Harry that I come across or get upset by what they say

People are vocal because they DO like the game. Whether it be actual critique or emotional spillage. It happens in every gaming forum. Just identify emotional spillage when you see it and take it for what it is. If youā€™re enjoying the current update then thatā€™s great! Other people arenā€™t and they have as much of a right to express those feelings as you do in favor of the changes.

Right, the game belongs to 16% of players, the rest should go find another game. How dare they criticize the game they care about instead of shrugging and moving on.

Personally, I defend everyoneā€™s right to say what they will, especially if I disagree with them.

Free and open discourse is good for many reasons. It allows the free flow of ideas. It allows people to have discourse and come to useful collaboration. It allows the scum of the earth to tell you how scummy they are so you know where you stand with them.
