POSSIBLE BUG - Was there a stealth nerf to temperature damage with AoH update? WAI?

Funcom:

Following the Age of Hero update, I have noticed that hanging out in cold temperatures was not NEARLY as deadly as it used to be.

Was there an intended adjustment to temperature damage in the Age of Hero’s update to make temperatures much easier to survive? Or was this an unintended consequence that managed to make its way into the game?

I almost wonder if this is tied to, or somehow related to the unintended clan / fall-damage damage-reduction issue that is currently also making fall damage much less lethal. While I have not “crunched the numbers,” this seems to possibly be the case - as it feels like I’m taking about 90% less cold damage in cold climates.

@AndyB @den @Community - could some one from Funcom weigh in on this issue? And confirm if it’s tied to the fall damage bug? Or - confirm for us that this is WAI and now the way you expect us to encounter extreme temperatures in-game.

While you’re weighing in on this one - it’s been quite a while since we’ve had answers from your team regarding the follow-ups on the Age of Heroes update, and the hotfix. It would certainly be appreciated if you could spend a few minutes answering some of our questions about what we can expect.

(( Console hotfix patch timing? Will there be a wholesale hotfix 2.0 for the things still broken from AoH? Status on the broken items? Will we get another fix before the 6 month cycle leading to AoH CH2? And many more… ))

Thank you!

Yes, this is universal to ANY damage source that originates from yourself and there’s no other active participant / NPC causing it.

Thank you for the quick response!

Any new on the hotfix for Age of Heroes on Consoles?

Crazy.

I was standing butt naked on the ice of the river from Bridge of the Betrayer and wondering what the hell.
