I own a playstation conan server. I have two questions. In the event log, it never gives the name of anyone who is inflicting building damage. Is there a way to change that? And two, if I set up a weekly restart, this wont wipe the server will it?

To answer your questions: 1) you need to be in admin mode to see who inflicted the damage, and only within your own clan.
2) the restarts don’t wipe, they just reboot the hardware. Similar to rebooting your modem every few weeks, it’ll keep the server running smoother with regular restarts. I personally have my server set to reboot at 3:30 AM my time, nightly. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! Its odd because even myself as an admin I dont see who damaged the building. Can see who has looted/“stolen”, but never that. Thats a shame that all the clans cant see who inflicted building damage, as im not giving out admin passwords to the server. I was so sure that on official servers that it always lets you know who inflicted building damage in an event log 
There should be a server setting to allow clans to see who did what without admin. Here I will pull up a screenshot.

As for you viewing without said setting change, you need to actively enter admin mode, it won’t recognize you as “admin” automatically.

Of course! You are most welcome! And lol @ gportal handwringing haha. I’ve been running my own server for a lil over 3 years now, and it can be very fun and rewarding, but also a lot of work. It was my first foray into running things in general, and I do a lot of storywrititng for it too. I kind of had to learn things as I went, especially since, as you can see, gportal offers no good tutorials or help lol.
