Good day. I’ve got a problem: I played on server 1052 until April 30th, but after May 1st, I couldn’t connect to any official server. I played using a VPN until May 10th. Now, even with a VPN, I can’t access any official server. My ping is above 400-500 and constantly fluctuates. During this period, I purchased the Isle of Siptah DLC and am very disappointed that I can’t enjoy the game. My question is: why are you restricting access for players from Russia? And will the connection and ping issue be resolved?
The server problems are affecting everyone worldwide, not just players from Russia. As far as I know, the only restrictions being placed on you are being placed by your government (mine is moving towards similar) - VPN should get round that (though I saw something about a recent change to the rules in your country for VPNs as well).
The server problems are being worked on - Dana has suggested that she may have an update post about that coming soon.
One of the Russian fellas on my private server suggested the recent problems for other Russians was something to do with the recent anniversary of the 2nd World War and parade. They wanted to limit the possibility of an attack from Ukraine. If this is the case, then hopefully our Russian cousins can re-join the Conanverse sometime soon.
