Hello,

Hello,
I’m having trouble transferring my character. I can transfer my character to a new game, but not my thralls. A pop-up window appears saying that I can add the thralls via a menu.
How does that work?
you have to put down a claim after you transfer and then you can spawn your followers from the follower tab.
Does no one read the patch notes anymore?
I’ve had a look at the patch notes. I went to the ‘Followers’ tab and all my followers are listed there with the note ‘not spawned’. But the button at the bottom to spawn the followers is greyed out, so I can’t click it.
I don’t play on the Exiled Lands or the Isle of Siptah. I was last playing on the Savage Wilds mod. I wanted to transfer the character to the Legend of Shem mod. The transfer worked, but only my character was transferred.
The patch notes stated that there could be issues when transferring to unofficial servers and that one should contact the server admin. The problem with the Legend of Shem mod, however, is that the creator of this mod has disabled the comments section and is no longer reachable via Discord.
How can I resolve this issue now? Or do I need to create a completely new character on this mod?
When I hover my mouse over the greyed-out button in the followers menu, a message appears telling me that I need to claim the land in order to spawn followers.
I play exclusively in single-player mode. I have no idea how to set up a private server.
The problem with the Legend of Shem mod is that I cannot use the Pippi - User & Server Management - v3.9.14 mod because you cannot set a home base via the chat menu (/sethome).
So I transferred the character to the Exiled Lands and set the home base. – But the button mentioned above is still greyed out.
What am I doing wrong here?
Ah, it’s working now. You have to lay the foundations first. Then the button to spawn the Loyalists is unlocked.
But unfortunately, you have to spawn each Loyalist individually. That’s quite a bit of work.
What a shame. So I can only play the Legend of Shem mod on a private server, where I can set up the Pippi – User & Server Management – v3.9.14 mod. In the past, I played on this map with a friend who set up a private server, and then we could use all the mods.
In Legend of Shem, a few new dungeons have been added that I would have liked to check out. So I have to start completely from scratch there and then work exclusively on placing and arranging beds and sleeping quarters.
I’ve never understood why you can’t use all the necessary mods that make the game easier on these unofficial servers? I’ve experienced the same dilemma with the Whispering Isles mod. But you can read in the comments that the map’s creator is thinking about getting some help.
Unfortunately, the official announcement about the new update and the patch notes didn’t mention that you first have to build a foundation and set up a home base in order to spawn followers. Perhaps that should be added.
have you put down a claim? you cant spawn them when there is no claim, it is in the patch notes and i said it in my first reply
Actually, the answer follows from what I said in response to your message. I first had to claim the land for myself, and once I’d laid out a bed and set a foundation, the button to spawn followers was unlocked. But that only worked in the Land of Exiles, because in Legend of Shem, as already mentioned, this Pippi – User & Server Management – v3.9.14 mod isn’t usable in single-player mode.
Perhaps I overlooked Funcom’s mention of it in the patch notes. That’s possible. But the text was also quite long, and you sometimes miss things when skimming through it.
Anyway, I’ve sorted the problem out.
